About: Dawn is a compulsive walker, an intrepid wanderer/traveler, and a confirmed urbanite who also appreciates quiet times in the mountains. She enjoys combining walking and wandering with her passion for art, architecture, history and the city. A librarian by training, Dawn is retired from a career directing non-profits, including American Institute of Architects Kansas City and International Women’s Forum Colorado, creating strategic, mission-driven alliances among seemingly unlikely partners. She has masters degrees in education and library/information science.
Dawn’s Niche: Urban rambling, mindful arts, and pilgrimage (near and far).

Dawn is trained to provide a host of whole-health connection focused walking programs as a member-owner of the Walk2Connect Cooperative. These include but are not limited to speaking/presentations, Walking Movement Leader training, tool training and set-up, and technical assistance/support for newly trained leaders and developing programs. These services are offered locally, statewide, regionally, and nationally.
