Arvada Coffee Walk’n Talk

An event every week that begins at 8:00am on Tuesday, repeating until May 28, 2019
TYPE: Walk & Talk | PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Mostly Sidewalk | DISTANCE: Approximately 3 miles
Walk Description: Start the day with a good walk and good conversation. This walk is relaxed, casual, and fun as we stop at the future site of the Gold Line station, then meander along the parks and trails that surround Olde Town Arvada. All abilities welcome.

Schedule and Meeting Location: We will meet in front of Global Goods Coffee House at 7:50 am and leave no later than 8:00 am. Our approximately 2-3 mile loop walk will conclude around 9:00 am. If you are planning to get a quick coffee or use the bathroom, please plan to show up early enough to be ready to leave by 8:00. There is plenty of parking on the street in front of the coffee shop.
-Please wear comfortable shoes and pref. non-cotton socks, along with multiple thin layers and gear appropriate to the weather.
-You may consider bringing a light backpack with water and snacks.
-Remember sunglasses/sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.
– Cancellation Policy: We only cancel in extreme weather conditions on our path, such as ice, hail, lightening. Check Meetup or text the walk leader for the most up-to-date conditions.
Welcome Waivers: If this is your first Walk2connect walking experience in 2016, please fill out the online “Welcome Waiver” or download, print, sign, and turn in a hard copy to your walk leader.
RSVP: You can register for this walk online at the North Metro Walkers Meetup page. This is a “rain or shine” walk, but if it is cancelled unexpectedly, anyone who has RSVP’d will receive email notification.
