Boulder Walk 360 Segment 4/Week 4

TYPE: Walk & Talk | PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Sidewalks, paved multi-use paths | DISTANCE: Approx. 5.5 miles | DIFFICULTY: Moderate
Walk Description: Walk 26 miles all the way around Boulder! Join us for segment 4/week 4 from Chautauqua Park to the Four Mile Creek Trailhead. To celebrate the completion of this series, we can go for lunch at Proto’s Pizza, if the group desires. Participants can catch the Skip bus back to Baseline and Broadway, then walk to Chautauqua, or arrange carpool rides.
Walk all 4 sections to get a Walk 360 sticker and prizes!
Segment 1, February 8: Four Mile Creek Trailhead to Valmont Bike Park (5.5 miles)
Segment 2, February 15: Valmont Bike Park to Table Mesa Shopping Center (7 miles)
Segment 3, February 22: Lucky’s Market to Chautauqua Dining Hall (6.5 miles)
Segment 4, March 1: Chautauqua Park to Four Mile Creek Trailhead (5.5 miles)
Walking Movement Leader: Darcy Kitching is a professional member of the Walk2Connect Cooperative and the Walk2Connect Boulder program manager. Walk with Darcy on Thursday mornings and during periodic Boulder Walks events like this one, organized in cooperation with the City of Boulder’s GO Boulder program.

~ Please bring plenty of water, and wear breathable layers appropriate for the weather, with hat, sunscreen and everything you need to stay comfortable.
~ Dogs are allowed on this section (no retractable leashes, please – they present a tripping hazard).
