An event every week that begins at 7:00am on Friday, repeating indefinitely
TYPE: STSP Weekly | PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Flat paved trail | DISTANCE: Approx. 3 mi |
Walk Description: Join us for our one hour City Park sunrise walks happening every Friday leaving from the South steps of the Park Hill Library (at 4705 Montview blvd) in the Park Hill neighborhood at 7AM. These will be easy, relaxed one-hour loop around the lake at City Park. These trips will have no set program. They exist to provide a fun, easy-going, communal and social on-foot experience to start your day. This is also a great way to meet other ‘daily’ walking friends nearby.
-Be sure to consider extra layers for cooler weather, comfortable shoes and non-cotton socks, water, camera, and sunglasses.
-Also, be sure to use the restroom before joining us as we won’t hit a restroom option until the park!
-Cancellation Policy: We only cancel in extreme weather conditions on our path, such as ice, hail, or lightening. Check Meetup or text the walk leader for the most up-to-date conditions.
Welcome Waivers: If you haven’t participated in a walk this year, please complete our Welcome Waiver online or download, print, sign and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first walking exprerience with Walk2Connect.
