Good Mornin’ Interlochen Walk
June 18 @ 6:30 am - 7:15 am
An event every week that begins at 6:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until August 27, 2019
Time: 6:30 am | TYPE: Fitness | PACE: 3 mph | TERRAIN: Sidewalk | DIFFICULTY: Easy | DISTANCE: Approx. 2 miles
Walk Description: We’ll take 2 brisk spins around the pond in Central Park in Interlocken to get our Tuesdays started on the right foot (pun intended!).
Walking Movement Leader: Peggy is an excited new Walk2Connect leader looking forward to meeting new folks in her work neighborhood and getting regular walks in. She is a walker, hiker and crafty gal who will love welcoming you to the walk!
Schedule & Planning: We’ll meet at the corner of Network Pkwy and Eldorado Blvd and take 2 trips around the large pond in Central Park. There is street parking there or you can pull into the lot for West Park kitty corner across the street. Google will send you to 405 Interlocken Blvd but parking is easier over on the opposite corner of the park. We’ll meet at 6:30am and start absolutely no later than 6:35am so everyone can make their way to work on time. Should be a 40-45 min walk. There will be no walk on 7/2/19.
Welcome Waiver: First time Walk2Connect Walker or first time this year, please sign the Walk2Connect Welcome Waiver.
What to Bring:
-Water, hat, sunscreen
-No dogs please
-Wear comfortable shoes and clothing
Cancellation Policy: Summer mornings are usually lovely here in CO but I will cancel the night before if there is an unfriendly weather forecast. I’ll make the decision by 8:30pm on Monday night.
RSVP: Please use the RSVP in our North Metro Meetup page for future communication. This just lets us know to expect you.
We are excited to explore with you! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
