Harper Lake Walk ~ Louisville Striders

PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Sidewalks, dirt trail | DISTANCE: Approx. 5 miles
Description: Join us for a special return of a Louisville Striders favorite – Harper Lake! We’ll begin at the Harper Lake parking lot, walking WEST across the mesa and down through the Louisville valley, returning to the lake through Coyote Run Open Space. It’s a scenic walk along both paved and dirt paths. Schedule: we will meet at 9 a.m. and will begin walking at 9:05. We will finish at about 11:00 a.m.

~ There are some hills along this walk.
~ Dogs are not allowed within the Harper Lake area (Leon Wurl Wildlife Sanctuary).
~ Wear comfortable shoes & clothing appropriate for the weather, and bring water, snacks and sun protection.
~ There is a restroom at the parking area. Arrive early if you’d like to use the facilities. There is also a new restroom by the arboretum next to the Louisville Rec Center.
