Healthy Strides: Westminster

An event every week that begins at 12:30 pm on Friday, repeating until May 31, 2019
TYPE: Reoccurring | PACE: 3 mph| TERRAIN: Mostly sidewalk & trail| DIFFICULTY: Moderate| DISTANCE: Approx. 3 miles
Walk Description: TGIF & Let’s walk. Join us every Friday afternoon for a nice walk around Westminster City Park. We will start at the Pavilion (red roof) by the kids playground and explore the area each week. This is a perfect lunch break walk so come out & connect with us.
Walking Movement Leader: Sarah is Member/Owner of Walk2Connect, nature walking life coach & TED Talk addict. Her hope is to help grow the ‘[email protected] Movement’ and help others experience some of the whole-health benefits, energy and pure joy that she receives from walking.
Schedule & Planning: Let’s meet at Westminster City Park Rec. Center. We will meet under the pavilion near the kids playground. There are portable potties right near the playground. We will leave no later than 12:35 so please email or text me if you are going to be late.
Welcome Waiver: First time Walk2Connect Walker or first time this year, please sign the Walk2Connect Welcome Waiver.
-Water, hat, sunscreen, camera, snacks.
-Friendly dogs are welcome – No retractable leashes please!
-Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and you may also want to include appropriate outerwear, hats, and gloves to accommodate for the weather.
Cancellation Policy: We only cancel in extreme weather conditions on our path, such as ice, hail, or lightening. Walks will be cancelled by 6 am that morning so check in with me if you are questioning it.
