Lowry Dog Walk

TYPE: Walk and Talk PACE: Conversational TERRAIN: dirt trail. Distance aprox, 2 miles DURATION: 45 mins COST: Free
Walk Description: A nice walk around the Lowry Dam where our dogs can get exercise, meet other friendly dogs, and where individuals can get to know each other. This relaxed and conversational walk is located at Lowry Sports Complex Park. It is a great opportunity to explore the Lowry Dam. Feel free to bring your family/friends on this walk who also share your interests of dogs. This walk starts around 5:15pm and if you arrive later, please contact Ashley at [email protected] Note: You do not need a dog to come to this walk.
Walking Movement Leader: Ashley Gutknecht is the summer intern at Walk2Connect.
- Dogs should be on short leashes. Retractable leashes are not recommended
- Bring water, for your dog and yourself
- Bring walking shoes
- Bring dog waste bags
Meeting Location, Transit and Parking: Lowry Sports Complex Park; Meet at the “Lowry Sports Park” sign at the East side of the park close to Fairmount Drive(8200 E Sports Blvd, Denver, CO 80230) The closest bus stop is Lowry Blvd & Fairmount Drive/Rampart Way. Parking is located on the side of the park on the northeast side of the Fairmount Drive and Sports Blvd intersection (on Sports Blvd)
