Lunchtime Social Media Stroll (W&T)

An event every month that begins at 11:30am on day Third of the month, repeating indefinitely
Walk Description: Take a break from your workday and learn about social media and other business topics on this relaxed and casual walk around downtown Denver in the Civic Center area. Come to learn about social media, make new friends, and get a bit of fresh air on the third Tuesdays of each month from 11:30am to 12:30pm
Walking Movement Leader: Helene Kwong is the CEO and Founder of Hashtagitude, a digital marketing agency focused on building strong authentic communities for lifestyle businesses in Denver and beyond. Helene has been a member of Walk2Connect since 2013 and enjoys meeting people from all walks of life through the organization.
Schedule & Meeting Location: Petroleum Building lobby, 110 16th Street (between Cleveland Place and Broadway). We will be leaving from the lobby at 11:30am SHARP so be sure to arrive early and give yourself enough time for parking. Restrooms are available upstairs on the 13th floor at Modworks.
–Parking: The Denver Post or Sheraton parking garages are in close proximity. Parking lots on 16th & Sherman and 16/17th & Lincoln are also available. There’s free street parking on Acoma just five or six blocks south of the Petroleum Building (where we’ll be meeting) and also metered parking outside the building.
–Dog Friendly: Yes
–Breaks, Restrooms: Restroom will only be available at the start and end of the walk at Modworks on the 13th floor of the Petroleum Building.
–Weather:Check forecast due to varying weather conditions, if needed please come prepared with enough layers and/or waterproof gear to keep yourself comfortable during the walk.
–Cancellation Policy: We only cancel in extreme weather conditions on our path, such as ice, hail, or lightening. Check Meetup or text the walk leader for the most up-to-date conditions.
