Walk 360 on Sundays – Segment 4 – Chautauqua to Lee Hill Drive
June 23 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 amFree
TYPE: Walk & Bike Month Program Event | PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Sidewalks, dirt trails, paved multi-use paths | DISTANCE: Approx. 5.6 miles
Walk Description: Walk 26 miles all the way around Boulder throughout Walk and Bike Month with our Boulder Walks team! We will walk the first four Sunday mornings in June, from 8 am to about 11 am, finishing each walk at or near places to enjoy lunch together. Along the way, we’ll explore Boulder history and innovation, learn about the city’s work to integrate more walkable and transit-accessible places into every neighborhood, and get in more than 10,000 steps together! Everyone who completes all four sections will receive a Walk 360 sticker.
Schedule and Planning: We’ll meet at the Chautauqua Park Ranger Cottage at 8 am, but we won’t start walking until about 8:30, giving people time to take the shuttle. Please use the free Park to Park shuttle and DO NOT park at Chautauqua (parking is limited and fee-based on weekends). The shuttle begins running at 8 am, so we will start this segment a little later. Please plan for extra time to catch the shuttle and arrive at the Ranger Cottage on the first shuttle. Arrange car-share rides, or plan to ride the Skip bus back to our starting place. At the end of this segment, we’ll celebrate closing the loop with pizza at Proto’s on North Broadway!
