Walk and Connect With New Friends – Rogers Grove/Golden Ponds

An event every month that begins at 7:00 pm on day Third of the month, repeating until October 17, 2019
TYPE: STSP | PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Paved and Dirt Trail | DISTANCE: 3.5 miles
Walk Description: Get your evening walk in and get ready for the weekend with this fun walk by the lake. We walk at a casual pace and invite all fitness levels to join us. Golden Ponds trail will let us explore the natural beauty of the mountains and possibly even see some bald eagles. This is a bilingual (Spanish and English) walk.
Walking Movement Leader: My name is Cherry G. Dominguez. I’m the oldest of five girls. I was born in Denver and raised in Longmont. I’m happily married for 19 years and have two wonderful daughters and two Chihuahua dogs. I work full-time for as a medical assistant. One of my hobbies is teaching Aqua Zumba through the Longmont Rec Center. I’ve taken walking and hiking as an enjoyable exercise to connect with nature and my community. Thank you for being part of my journey.
Schedule: We will meet at 7:00PM at the parking lot of Rogers Grove Park, the entrance on Hover. We leave NO LATER than 7:05 PM. and will finish no later than 08:30 PM. We will do brief introduction, sign waivers, and a warm-up.
~ Well-behaved dogs are allowed. No retractable leashes please.
~ Wear comfortable shoes & clothing appropriate for the weather, and bring water, snacks and sun protection.
~Be sure to bring water and consider bringing a camera to take and share photos.
Welcome Waivers: Please fill out the online Welcome Waiver or download, print, sign and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first Walk2Connect walking experience this year.
