Noon Walk at Adams State (Alamosa)

TYPE: Walk’n Talk | PACE: 2-3 mph Reflective/Conversational | TERRAIN: Sidewalk, Trail | DISTANCE: Approximately 2-3 miles | COST: Free | TIME: Wednesdays @ 12:00-1:00 PM

Walk Description: Join us for a refreshing and reflective walking experience guided by Peter Wise. This will be a weekly walk, meeting every Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 PM on Adams State University campus between Porter and Richardson Hall designed for participants to connect with each other and folks in the San Luis Valley.

What to Expect: This will be a (roughly) 2-3 mile walk. We should get back to our starting location no later than 1 PM to respect everyone’s schedule.

Consider Bringing:
– Comfortable socks & shoes
– Light backpack to carry water, binoculars, camera, snacks if desired
– Several (thinner) layers depending on anticipated temperature

Dogs are welcome! Please make sure that they are well behaved and on a 6ft leash or less. No retractable leashes, please.

Welcome Waivers: If you have not completed a Welcome Waiver this year please fill out the online Welcome Waiver or download, print, sign, and bring the waiver with you to the walk. You only need to complete one Welcome Waiver per year.
