An event every week that begins at 5:00pm on Wednesday, repeating until October 25, 2017
TYPE: STSP Weekly | PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Mostly sidewalk, some grass/dirt trail, some road | DISTANCE: Approx. 2 mi
Heeey ladies! Join us Wednesday evenings on a mission of self-care in beautiful Park Hill for a 45 minute Pow(Her) walk! We’ll meet at the bridge in front of the entrance of Dahlia Campus for Health and Well-Being (3401 Eudora St. 80207). Our walk will take place on paved and asphalt paths. All ages and activity levels are welcome. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring a water bottle and your great energy. Walking will leave you totally refreshed, absolutely revived, and truly reinvigorated!
Walking Movement Leader: Taliah Abdullah lives, works, and plays in Park Hill as a resident, the Site Coordinator at Dahlia Campus for Health and Well-Being, and City Captain for GirlTrek Denver. You will find Taliah walking to and enjoying our community treasures like the libraries, recreation centers, Vickers Boys & Girls Club and neighborhood schools.
Schedule, Planning and Nearby Transit: We will meet at 5:00 pm at the bridge in front of Dahlia Campus for Health and Well-Being. We’ll start with introductions, complete waivers, and use the restroom before the walk begins. Please arrive before 5:00 p.m. if you are need to complete waiver and/or use the restroom. We will begin the walk no later than 5:10 pm and should be done walking no later than 5:45 pm. Of course, you can leave earlier if you need to, just be sure to inform the Walking Movement Leader. Plenty of free parking can be found in the parking lot on the south side of Dahlia Campus as well as ample on-street parking. 40, 43, and 34 are nearest bus stops.

Welcome Waivers: Please fill out the online “Welcome Waiver” or download, print, sign, and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first Walk2Connect walking experience in 2017.
