Sloan’s Lake Park is located on the northwest side of Denver next to Lakewood, Edgewater, and Wheat Ridge. It’s the perfect loop for an exciting glow-in-the-dark Dance Walk around the lake. Our playlist is TBD. Write your suggestions in the comments 🙂
Your Trip Hosts: Morgan Russo, Jonathon Stalls and Christine are all seasoned walk leaders with Walk2Connect. In addition to walking, all three share a common passion for dancing and can’t wait to get their groove on.
Schedule & Meeting Location: We will meet at 7:30 pm in front of the bathroom facilities across from Wolff St and W Byron Pl. There is plenty of parking throughout the neighborhood and at the Sloan’s Lake Park parking lot. In case you need to use the restroom, please plan to arrive before 7:30pm as we will leave no later than 7:40pm. We should be done walking no later than 9:15pm.
-Please wear comfortable shoes to dance walk in and consider bringing any other glow-in-the-dark gear you might have.
-The bathrooms may not be open, so please try and go before you come to the walk.
-Due to varying weather conditions, please come prepared with enough layers and/or waterproof gear to keep yourself comfortable during the walk as it will take place rain or shine.
-You might also bring a headlamp or flashlight to accompany the glow in the dark necklaces and gear.
-Loud music will be provided.
