My Walking Radius Maps

15-20 Minute Walking Radius Maps // from home or the workplace

Make a loose commitment to NOT drive anywhere within ONE MILE of your home or workplace.  Replace practical trips to the grocery store, post office, neighborhood park, recreation center, local cafe and more by walking.  It roughly only takes 15-20 minutes to walk for one mile.  Please see the linked PDF zone maps below.  You simply print off the map that shows your home or work place location, cut out the circle stencil and draw a 1 mile radius around your home or work place.  This is your new ‘walking zone’!

Some of the many benefits to this behavior change:– Sift through thoughts and tasks of the day
– Connect with neighbors, family and friends
– Burn calories
– Reduce vehicle costs and emissions
– Improve neighborhood safety with more eyes on the streets
– Build new relationships with local business owners
– Take in fresh air and nature
– Connect to change in  seasons, cloud color, sunsets and neighborhood gardens
